How to align Hotbaird @13East. Complete tutorial step by step

Hotbird is one of the Most Popular satellite especially in Europe. People from Pakistan, India and other asian countries can also locate/find this satellite according to the satellite beam. You can watch most entertainment channels on this satellite as lot of movies, Sports, Entertainment and informative channels are there...

So today you will learn how to exactly install Hotbird @13east. Hotbird has strong signals with the help of which it will not so hard to find it.
First of all take a Pen with Notebook because you will need to write down important points.
So,  first you will need equipement to find this satellite. so


  1. Dish antena with KU-Band LNB-You can use fiber made Dish antena for this purpose.
  2. Satellite receiver with multimedia cables:
  3. Co-axial cable as your requirement
  4. Televasion or Satellite finder meter.


Now here you need to setup this equipement.
Connect satellite receiver with television through multimedia cables. Now connect one end of co-axial cable to KU-LNB which is fixed with Dish antena and another end with satellite receiver or satellite finder meter.after setting your equipemnet. now its time to change settings in satellite receiver.


  • Open Menu in Satellite Receiver
  • Add a satellite in receiver and named it Yahsat 52.5East.
  • LNB Type==Universal
  • LNB Frequency==9750-10500.
  • Diseq switch port==1
  • I strongly recommend that please use a single cable with no broken ends. otherwise you will be unable to get signals.

  • 10873 V 27500
  • 10992 V 27500

Now feed Strong tp or tune any Strong signal channel in your receiver.it will show no signals.thats it now place your Dish antena just like this picture.

you can adjust elevation angle by visiting this site http://www.sat-direction.com.
Now your dish antena should be towards west because you will find Hotbird there. Now move your antena in a zigzag way..surely you will get signals.
